If I asked you to pick your one favorite Harry Potter screencap, could you do it?
I mean it’s not impossible, but as the people I’ve asked found out, it’s a bit of a daunting task. Seven movies, soon to be eight, hundreds of moments, and thousands of caps to choose from. In the end, you must pick only one. It’s a difficult choice, do you pick a cap of the trio laughing, them crying and holding each other? Maybe you pick a cap of your favorite character who isn’t part of the trio, Dumbledore? Draco, perhaps? Or maybe a screencap of Hogwarts, the place that has become a second home to us? How am I supposed to pick just one?
I wanted to make a post, just one meaningful post that would summarize my feelings - our feelings - for this amazing series, and that’s not something I wanted to do alone. This series was about treasuring friendship and love more than anything. So I asked a few people on tumblr, with whom I have made fond memories, to help me out and pick their favorite screencaps, which you see on the fanmix cover.

That’s what this post is all about. I’ve put together a fanmix of some bittersweet songs for the close of our favorite story, the end of an era. With the help of Mitha, Ellie, Vivian, Aly, Michelle, Chynna, Devi, Lizzie, Alex, Angela, Anita, Rachel, Carmen, and Elias, I want to say our thanks to a phenomenal author, and goodbye to a dear friend. The boy who lived will continue to live on in our hearts and memories forever.
